So I thought I’d start out this new year by catching up on something I’ve been meaning to do since October; namely, putting up my latest podcast. I actually gave this speech almost three months ago, but I somehow managed to mess up the recording so that when you played it back it sounded like this: “Mmwwaahh, mmwweeee, mmwwhhooaa, [static], [loud buzzing], [heavy breathing], ‘Luke, I am your father. Search your feelings, you know it to be true’.”
Fortunately for me my family was apparently pretty hard up for entertainment options over Christmas, because they very kindly volunteered to be my live studio audience last weekend so that I could give my speech again and obtain a new, clear, non-Darth Vader-esque recording.

dear jenny: one of my intentions this year is to be consistently more joyful. since making this a goal for 2007 on december 31at, i had some folks over for dinner and there was laughter, went to an all-women’s artist party on on the first and laughed, then listened to this podcast……thanks for adding laughter and spice into my life and helping me with my goal of joyfulness, all at the same time! blessings on you, my friend. wendy from whidbey island, WA.
